Hey guys, what’s the best way to tell the admissions that I’ll retake my test. Should it be with an email or is there a section in the application that i can mention that?

I would email someone in the admissions committee so they can note it in your file. Or, if preferred, you can call and speak with someone directly. If that's the case, I would write down who/when you spoke with so there is a record of the interaction.
