Hey all, just a wanted some advice from the pros. I applied for the class of 2007, did not get in, got a master's degree, worked a year and now applying again.

My Master's research was dental related, and I worked with a dentist along with my research advisor (some of the work was conducted in the lab at the dentist's office) Would it be wrong to list what I did as both research experience and dental experience?

It was on the same topic, but the research and things that I did were slightly different. Let me know what you guys and gals think.

I would just list it as Research Experience....

Dental Experience has more to do with the Clinical setting....

Besides when they receive your application.. You dont want the same thing listed twice.... It will make you seem incompetent for trying to fool the dental admissions office into thinking youve done two different extracurricular activities....

Just my two cents...

good point, I'll try to include some stuff in the personal statement, and try to bring it up in a potential interview...thanks for the input
