Hey guys,

I got a scholarship in high school,"Governer's Scholarshare, I was wondering if anyone put a HS award/scholarship on their app

Also, I did a bunch of hours of volunteer work in a hosp in HS, did anyone put HS volunteer work on their app?

was the scholarship for college or was it for use at a private high school? a lot of scholarships are "earned" in high school... so go ahead and put that down, why not?

in terms of high school volunteering... that's a bit iffy. mentioning it can't hurt, but it should be secondary to what you have done in the last several years.

IMO, it depends on how much volunteer work you have done.. if you have many volunteer work in college, i don't see the point of list wolunteer work done in high school since it's been long time. however, if you don't have many volunteer work or extra curriculum in college, it's better to have something than nothing...

thanks for the quick replies. The schalorship was for college use, and I do have a lot of college volunteer, so I dunno what im gonna do about the hs vol,

Not to hijack the thread or anything, but what if the high school work was done in a medical-related field? I think in that case the importance would be that much more.
