I have a couple of questions. I tried posting them in the sticky thread but no one answered them, so I'm trying them here.

1) I took the DAT twice and I did much better the second time and I was wondering how do I make the schools that I'm applying to aware that I don't want them to use my "current" (old) scores. Do I e-mail them? Do I send them a letter when I send in my supplementary apps?

2) To my understanding if I submit my AADSAS application today it won't get sent out for a few more weeks (GPA calculation, etc.). Do I send the supplemental stuff out right away still even though the main application isn't there?

Any other tips/suggestions would be appreciated. 🙂

1. It doesn't seem like you have submitted your AADSAS application yet, so when you enter your DENTPIN on the AADSAS application, both your scores will be available to dental schools. Once your DAT scores are received by AADSAS, the dates of both exams will be under "Official DAT Scores". If it's not, I would email each school and let them know you have re-taken it.

2. When you submit your AADSAS, go ahead and send the supplemental information that schools request now. You are a bit late e-submitting now, and it will take weeks for your application to be sent out by this point. Go ahead and send in the secondaries to speed everything up.

1) I haven't submitted my application yet because I screwed up and forgot to submit my transcript application. I did take the DAT last year and I re-took it this year (last week) so my new scores haven't shown up yet. I was late in re-taking it because of summer school, wedding, etc.

2) Thank you 👍
