just got it 3 mins ago.
"Your application has been received and will be forwarded to the Committee on Dental Recruitment and Admissions for review."

AADSAS was sent out 6/16.
 
yea i just received an email from them 1 minute ago. happy to hear from them but we will not see a supplemental application until the committee has reviewed our application.
 
I received the email right now. It has been forwarded to Admission Committee.

I received too. My application was sent on 7/13 i think.

Do maryland requires supplemental appl. too?
 
Yeah, Maryland requires a supplemental application, but they only send you a supplemental application if they think that you are worthy of an interview.

I just got the email today too, they must have sent out a mass email to everyone that sent an AADSAS application to them.

Hey guys Im also applying to Maryland just sent in my app 2 days ago. Quick question: they say that you should send $75 check to them for application fee. Did you just send this right away or wait til they contacted you?

ok, so here is the problem. I received their email saying "Your application has been received and will be forwarded to the Committee on Dental Recruitment and Admissions for review." And then a few days later, I got another email from them, this time they said my appl is on hold because I haven't send our the appl fee which is 75 bucks. My question is, if I've never received their invitation for an secondary appl, is that mean they only want my 75 and then reject me?
 
I think everyone has to submit the $75 even before they send secondary otherwise they wont even look at your app without the check
 
Maryland only sends out secondaries to people who are invited for an interview. When you are sent an email later in the fall for an interview invite it will have a secondary application attached to it that you need to mail in and upon receiving this application they set people up with an interview date. The application fee is due at the time of application to Maryland regardless of whether or not you are considered for an interview.
 
When you sent the fee in did you type the info they wanted like name address social? I just wrote it on a piece of paper and mailed it with my check. I didn't think it was a big deal probably just for verification but now Im nervous I should have typed it up. Do you think it means anything? What did you guys do?
