1. If I have taken the DAT once, but plan on retaking and mention that on the AADSAS application, do schools wait to receive the retake scores before making an admission decision, or can decisions be made without the retake scores?

2. Can dentist recommendations be combined into the committee letter or do schools want is separate? My committee letter is a composite of 2 professor recs and 1 dentist rec, and all will be included with the the comm. rec.

1) Depends on the school/how you appeal to them. They literally get thousands of applications for around 100 spots or less. Personally, I would recommend reaching out to them early in the application cycle to discuss.

2)That should be fine. Personally, I choose to take advantage of being able to have an extra letter by not including it in the composite.

You mean you want to know whether or not they are willing to take a gamble that you might retake your DAT and that your scores will blow them out of the water?
