Just wondering how the application status changes following submission. I've heard enough to know that the application is processing shortly after submitting and then it takes 4-6 weeks to verify. But I'd love a bit more detail on how it changes and what's happening behind the scenes in the meantime.

Processing ---> Verified. Processing in basically waiting for your turn in the queue. Once it is your turn you get verified. Application released to schools in Tuesday. What happens behind the scenes while it says processing? Um probably nothing but who knows.
