I'm a bit worried about when we're supposed to send out application through AADSAS to the dental schools we're applying to.

I plan on applying for the 2008 cycle but on this website of schools, many of the deadlines are in March. I plan on taking the DAT around April or June of 2007. This might be a dumb question, but do they mean March 2007 or March 2008? Why is everyone saying October/November is too late to apply? When would be the best time to apply?

When would be the best time to take the DATs as I haven't taken Organic Chemistry II?

Those March deadlines are for the 2007 incoming class. However, it's better to apply way before that, August or July of 2006 to maximize your chance of getting into D. school. Best time to theoretically take your DAT is after you've taken all of your basic sciences--ie summer of 2006 at latest, if you want to have a chance to retake the DAT.
