I see that the application opens on May 4th. Can applications be submitted on May 4th also or is there a month wait similar to the aamc application?
 
Yes, it took till June 15th last cycle:

The site has not updated, but the date will likely be the same again. Do note that you will have to manually send your MCAT score from the AAMC.
