Hi guys!
I have a few questions regarding the AADSAS timeline. I am going to apply this summer, but I am taking the DAT in late May, and I am taking a few summer classes that end in late June. The application opens June 2nd, and I need to apply early because my GPA isn't too competitive.
So how long does it take for the DAT scores to get into the AADSAS system? And should I apply right after the DAT is done? OR should I wait for the summer classes and apply with a slightly better GPA? I read on their website that even though the application opens June 2nd, the schools start receiving applications in late June. My other option is to apply without the summer classes, and then do a academic update after the Fall semester(December). This way the GPA will improve a bit more. Can you guys also explain how the academic update works? What if the schools look at my old GPA and reject me before I even get a chance to do an update?
Thanks in advance! 🙂

1. It takes 2-3 weeks on average to be matched to your application.
2. June isn't late at all considering the first batch goes out at the end of June, I'd wait until your summer classes are done if you GPA will be better.
3. Wait until Fall grades are in to do the academic update. Basically you just enter your updated grades and send a transcript then your GPA gets recalculated/updated. Yes, that is a possibility and you can't really do anything to prevent that.
