Application update advice

I applied early this cycle and have had one interview so far. A month before I submit my application I began working as a dental assistant and included 160 hours with the experience. Since then I have worked an additional 3 months at the position and was wondering if I should add a new experience with those hours, as you can't simply update an old experience with new hours. How should I do this, or should I just leave it as it is? On the experience info I did mention that I would be continuing with the job throughout this cycle.

I'd email schools telling them you've gained more experience and would like it added for consideration. Make it kind of like a quarterly update, so include any other things that you've done/updated too since you've submitted.

* make sure the numbers are significant though, if the only thing you have to update is like 20 more hours, I'd hold off until it's 100 or 200.
