So I recently realized that because I didn't start my full-time job (in mental health research and development, which relates somewhat to my proposed research interests) until after my AMCAS was submitted, schools that did not specifically ask a question like "If you are not in school, then what have you done since you have graduated?" or ask about employment on their secondary application probably have no idea that I've been working at a full time job the past few months. Should I send schools that don't ask this sort of question and have not gotten back with me with any sort of decision an update letting them know that I have been working at a full time job the past few months; this seems like some may consider this to be a somewhat significant EC?

So I went through with this and actually ended up getting some IIs after updating schools! Not sure if this did or did not have anything to do with their decision, but I'm definitely happy. One more question, I have a few more schools to contact regarding this, and just found out that I'm listed as a co-author for an abstract that was submitted to an international conference from my old lab last week (although not as primary author). Should I include a citation for this submitted abstract in my update, or should I not mention it unless it gets accepted?
