just wondering what would be a suggestion for questions that ask for your weaknesses? i was looking over the interview feedback and some people were asked: what is a strength / weakness in your application?
any suggestions for weaknesses that aren’t really so bad? bc u don’t really want to highlight anything bad like grades but not answering is obviously not good either. 😕 😕

This one has been asked quite a few times. A search will give you varying opinions, but you could start with this thread:

Say something that can be a weakness and also a strength as well. Make sure to explain both sides of your answer. It shows the interviewers that you can self evaluate yourself as well as that your ego is in check, but also by pointing out the ways in which it can be a positive feature, you don't plant a marked negative in their minds about you.

I got a similar question..."What would your best friend say that your main weakness is?"

I said that sometimes I can be a little stubborn, and explained how that it could cause communication barriers and cause bad impressions if not kept in check, but also that my stubborness helps me to achieve whatever I put my mind to and that it helps me to remain persistent in support of good ideas/etc that I may have while brainstorming etc.

I said something very similar to that and the interviewers seemed to like the answer. I was accepted to that school as well. WHATEVER YOU DO, do not say something that cannot be seen positively in any light, or something fundamentally derogatory to your wanting to become a physician, like:

"I don't mean to be, but I'm pretty racist"
"I'm not very good at science"

And if you plan on answering with either of those examples just listed above, maybe you should rethink you choice to go to med school:laugh:
