I printed my application to check over it. When I did I noticed that the paragraphs are lost and everyting in the personal statement reads as one giant paragraph?? Is this how the one looks that admissions people will see?

Also, If I took the April MCAAT but will also take the August test, do I put down April or August?

Maybe this application is just one final test to see if I am smart enough to get thru Medical school!!

Anyone that can help me on these couple questions?

-thanks!

The same thing happened to me and from what I understand, that's how the admissions people will look at the application. Maybe this is just my experience, but I don't think they really even looked at my personal statement last year. I cut and paste a little too much and everything came out in fragments. I spent almost zero time on the personal statement and they didn't even ask me about it in interviews. They only asked me about the secondary application essays. I don't know if this helps, but this is what happened to me.

You might want to ask the schools you are applying to about the MCAT. One school said they wouldn't review my application until scores from the August MCAT come in. Others went ahead and looked at my April scores. I guess it just depends on the school.

Best of luck!

Don't worry about the formatting on the application. I copy/pasted from word and it does put it in one paragraph. Don't let it worry you.

As to the MCAT, at this point you would only put August since the April test is done and the schools should get the scores by the end of this month.

Good luck!! :luck:

i took the mcat in april of '03 and in '04. I sent in my application today and sent in my old scores from '03. I will forward my new scores when they arrive...but i put i took the april '04 test....but maybe the schools will like be before they even get the new scores...who knows...we'll see. it is just confusing.
