I heard everyone advices to apply early. How early is early? Is submitting applying in September considered late?

i remember people applying as soon as optomcas opened it and it took them 4 weeks to send out the apps.

i submitted late september, and they sent mine out within a week, and i got replies from schools first week of october.

but dont procrastinate bc those secondaries are time consuming!
