I finally submitted my application today, my transcripts and all references are in too. Am I too late? 🙁 I don't have an amazing GPA (3.2ish). My OAT score was ts/aa 350 with lowest 330. I have about 200 hrs of shadowing experience and few research assistant jobs, including one focusing on cataracts.

For the time I am applying and with my facts should I be worried?

But do you really have 200 hrs of shadowing experience or is that an embellishment of ridiculous proportions? If you haven't seen everything you need to see at 100 hrs (even that is too much, imo), then there's a problem. How would you even find enough optometrists to let you shadow for that long? I had the most difficult time finding a willing optometrist, let alone one or a few who would allow 200 hrs of shadowing.

It was before I even started university. One summer I was in highschool and completely free, and this optometrist was close to my house so I would just go there every day for a few hours for the entire summer!
