Hey guys,

I wanted to know if anyone has heard about getting interviews before the school has recieved your MCAT scores. I am taking the test for the first time in August and am working on my application now. I had a friend who I think got an interview from Vanderbilt, but to my knowledge they had not yet received her scores. I want to send my application off by July 26. Does anyone think that this is to late since being early isn't an option. Is it possible for me to get an interview if my scores have not yet been reported. I would appreciate any advice on the matter

The 26th is not too late. Once your scores come in, and you have completed your secondaries for specific schools - some send them out prior to having your MCAT scores once they receive your preliminary AMCAS information - then you'll start getting interview invites. There are a few places that have invited exceptional students (high GPA, high MCAT, fabulous ECs) to interview without completing secondaries. Hope this helps.
