Would a class in applied linguistics be classified under behavioral & social sciences (BESS) or English? The course was on language and how it affects social interaction.

I just found out some schools require behavioral and social sciences, so I am hoping this might be applicable to BESS.

Let me guess, Applied Linguistics 30W? I classified it as behavioral and social sciences last year and it worked out for me.
