applying early definitely gives you an advantage. teh earlier, the better...so may or early june are the best.

that being said, you're life isn't over if you applied late. the more you wait, the harder it is on yuorself, but by no means believe that you won't be able to get in unless you apply early. if you can complete a significantly better application by waiting, then i'd say wait, key word being significantly.
