Hello guys, I am a Texas resident and am planning to apply this year for OOS and take my DAT (first time) in early July.

My GPA is a bit low at:
Overall GPA: 3.22
Overall Science GPA: 3.06

I already applied @ TMDSAS since it was pretty cheap for me, but I was wondering should I go ahead and send in my application for AADSAS? I am planning to apply to like ~15 OOS schools so you can imagine the cost is high, and I don't want to waste money if I don't get a high DAT score this time around.

So I was wondering should I just fill out the AADSAS form and wait till I take my DAT scores to submit OOS? I am aiming around a ~20-21 for DAT.

no offense, but we all aim that high. I would fill it out and then hold off to comlete it. You will be able to have all your LORs and transcripts in before you take the DAT, then as soon as you take it, if you get a good score, click submit.

im completing my application and paying for one school, this way AADSAS processes the application and then when I am ready to apply to all my schools, I will simply have AADSAS send it to the 20 other schools and then pay the appropriate fees. [You dont have to submit your app to all the schools you want in one shot; you can go back and add more schools later] This way I ensure that my application is processed ASAP but submitted only when i'm ready; and this way I only spend $235 if I am not happy with my scores vs. $3K.

This is a very good idea. 2 questions:

- Where is the option to send to other schools after submitting app and does it cost any extra to do this?

One problem. Your application will have to wait based on when you submit it again the second time. For example, last year I added UCLA late, I had to wait for it to process, and then wait for it to mail again. 🙁

I am a bit confused on application fee so let me know if I got this right, this is for OU College of Dentistry and I got the fees from the ADEA book:

+$75 to apply for each dental school via AADSAAS
+$68 application fee for that school
+$75 for secondary application

Is that right PER school?

Roughly. Some secondaries are less. I know last year AADSAS had a chart of what their fee was based on how many schools you apply to.

Hmm I don't understand on the ADEA book for OU it says:

Fee for application: Yes, AADSAS application fee.

And then it says:

Amount of fee for application:
In State: $68
Out of State $68

It sounds like its only going to cost $68+secondary fee...does the AADSAS application automatically make the fees once you select the schools?
