Apply to a few more schools?

Should I apply to more schools considering my stats? I am only applying to 4 (as you can see below)

EC's: President/Founder of a student organization and I am the founding member/Treasurer of a national biological honors society (Tribeta).

Research: Did a summer doing research

Shadowing: 45hrs of shadowing a general dentist

Volunteer/Comm Service: Did some hospital work in high school (63hrs) but I dont know if it counts. Also a volunteer for a charity organization.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Normally people say 5-8 schools is ballpark minimum. Less than this suggests you are pretty confident that you'll get in where you want. Maybe you are. I was. I'm reapplying.

your school choice selection is a bit odd to say the least.. you have one of the toughest program to get into PENN with one of the easiest to get into NYU, did you just do a random crap shoot? or i guess you wanna say around the pen, nj, ny area..

how about buffalo? little further but still within some distance and pittsburgh?

Wondering the same thing.

And yes, I do want to stay in the NY/NJ/PA area. I live in NJ so UMDNJ is a natural choice and go to school in philadelphia (hence, Temple and Penn). and NYU was just a backup choice. I don't think I'm gonna add any more schools for now cuz I talked to my advisor and he said I should be okay with these.
