Ok....I know I am starting a lot of threads...but GOD do I have loads of questions 😛

If I am starting a new volunteer thing in July and one in September....would it be wise to wait until the deadline to apply, so it will show more months of work or will it not matter 😕

Any advice?

c'mon gents and gentlewoman 😛 regardless of giving me advice or not....let us know...did you apply early or late? and what was your reasoning in either case? Did you get in? Did you ever do the opposite and not made it?

I am sure many would find any input quite helpful!!!

LOL, ok here's A story.

I applied for the late deadline and thanks to some of my referees my application wasn't complete until mid-March.

The story I got from the ABP was that applications are sent to the schools in Febuaury; so it was still worth finishing the application (and it was though I had to wait until the second round of interviews and didn't find out about my acceptance until late summer). When the applications are complete is stamped on them before they are sent to Ireland. I think that the schools review them in the order they are completed.

That's all the info that I think is out there. My advice is to get your application in early and send in supplementary material as it becomes available to add to your file.

😀 Thanks for sharing 😀

Congrats on getting accepted 😛

I didn't know that I could send more stuff after, I shall do that and I guess volunteering is volunteering even though it should be for longer, most need a minimum commitment so they know that you didn't just go there for the app.
