Hello everyone, my plan is to apply to the Optometry programs for entrance in the Fall of 2014. How early should I submit my application on OptomCas? Can I apply before all of my prerequisites are complete? I wanted to apply around September, but my prerequisites would still be in the process and not yet completed. Is this okay? Also, I planned to take my OAT in december.. Should I just take this summer that way I can apply before December? Your help and advice would be appreciated! thanks!

You can go ahead and submit in July...and send in scores later and put your fall courses in the "planned" section that way schools know you are going to complete them...before December is considerably early!

Awesome thanks! How long would it take for schools to contact me after submitting my applications? And also, do I submit the supplemental applications for the desired schools in july as well?

Submit everything in July. Schools most likely won't invite you to interview until your OAT scores are available in December, but at least you will be on hold. They will know who you are and will only be waiting on 1 part of your application. Applying early is in your best interest, even if all of the parts aren't complete.
