Hi,
Everyone here is saying to make sure to apply EARLY. I was wondering if I send my application in in june and then my mcat scores on july 1st will that be considered EARLY or should make sure to have my mcat scores in on june as well? thankss!!!

That is a good question. This is going to be the first summer with the new MCAT testing results so it might work a little differently than past years. In years before as long as you got your application done before the April MCAT scores came out (which was usually mid-June) you could be considered early.

My guess would be that if you had the application done by mid June (with scores) then you would be considered early. You have to remember that an application is meaningless without scores, so if you can have them by June then you are set. Best of luck with the application process.

AMCAS opens on or around May 3rd this year. It takes a while (up to 3 weeks) for AMCAS to approve your application anyway, even if you have everything in early. If you want to apply early, then have everything ready by May 3rd 😀

When do Amcas and AACOMAS applications for 2008 open? I need to submit my apps early so I can get more interviews than I did last time and earler too.

I have a couple of questions. I heard that the AMCAS will be available as early as May 2, 2007. Is this true and why would they make it a month earlier than usual? I also would like to know, that whether or not the AMCAS comes out in May or June 1st as usual, since it may take up to 6 weeks for the AMCAS to be verified, if you take the MCAT's say in June or July, and it now takes a month to receive your scores, wouldn't it still be considered sending in everything early, if you receive your MCAT scores around the same time the AMCAS is verified and you send AMCAS your scores to be included in your now verified AMCAS? In other words, most secondaries do not come in until the AMCAS is verified, so if your MCAT scores were sent in to AMCAS as soon as it is verified, and you finish your secondaries as soon as you get them, would you still be considered sending everything in early? I hope this is not too confusing, but I would very much appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you all
