Ok if your Hispanic then def say that. Like some minority backgrounds don't help. For example I'm indian, being indian doesn't help. Being oriental (Chinese, Japanese etc) doesn't help. Being black, Hispanic, Pacific Islander helps a lot! First generation college student also helps a lot.
