Is there anybody out there who is applying, or has applied last year to any residencies? Can you tell me how you typed out your applications? Did you use a typewriter and type it a bunch of times? Is there a better way (ie. scanning onto computer, then typing)? Can anybody tell me how to type on a pdf file? Thanks. Good luck!

if you want to type (edit) a pdf file, you need a pdf
editor. that will cost you a chunk of change, but i'd
bet that one of the computer labs at your school
might have an editor already installed for your use.

you could try using some of the free utilities at
www.pdf995.com, but you need to be pretty
good with software to figure out how to do this stuff...
