Applying for the 2009 cycle?

Good day everybody,

I have registered on the ADEA website so that I can start my application for the 2009 cycle. I have filled most of the different parts of the application. But on the actual application, once I logon, towards the top of the page it has 2008 Application for dental school. Because of this, when I try to "designate dental schools" the deadline date for 2008 is still up. I would like to continue the application process, but would I have to start over once/if the application for 2008 is ready.

Yea, you have to wait til like May 15, 2008 to start the 2009 application. Right now, you're filling in the 2008 application and it will not carry over for 2009.

True. You just wasted a bunch of time. However, your username and password will carry over. Congrats.

Save all the fields to like a text file or print it out. It'll help you zoom through it in May.

You might want to start getting those LORs now. Some professors are notorious for being really slow.
