applying through VMCAS.. then?

hi all,
I just found out that some other universities require its own essays. Since I was only thinkin about applying for UCD, I am kind of shocked at this moment. for UCD, as far as I know, I "only" apply through the VMCAS.
Im thinkin to apply UCD, colorado, cornell, upenn, western, and Tufts.
do I have to make my online account for each of those schools that are listed? or am i just applying for VMCAS??

Just in case it's not, you have a crap ton of work to do buddy. All of the school just about require supplementals, and schools like Tufts and Western you don't even apply to through VMCAS........

ok i c that tufts university participation says apply directly. ucd participation says full. full means vmcas only? what does full mean?!?!!?!?
 
...........How are you only learning this like a week before the deadline?
 
If that's your response....I would say save your money and reapply next year. Some schools require more LORs, a bunch more essays, etc.. I'm not saying this to be harsh, just trying to say you don't just apply to vet school on a whim and without all of this knowledge more than a week ahead of time.
 
but im done with my 5000 word PS. should i just apply for ucd, upenn, and western univ? it seems like they don't require their own essays..

this is hilarious, but just to keep the fun alive..

do you mean uc davis when you say ucd? They require the ets PPI to be completed by your evaluators and sent to the school by ets. This takes 14 days to process before it can even be sent. Due date is Oct. 2, no exceptions. kitten, you're way behind

Dude, you're not going to make deadline. You have multiple questions that are so basic (plus the fact you haven't even sent your transcripts yet, it seems) that it's obvious you are doing this at the last minute. Save money and apply next year. Seriously.

Do you have any veterinary experience? You do know a certain number of hours (usually at least a few hundred, some applicants here have hours in the thousands) are required working at various hospitals in order to be eligible to apply or to have any sort of chance, along with recommendation letters from veterinarians?

god.. i think i'm a ****.. thanks guys haha! yeah i've done about 1750 hrs of vet work. I didn't kno that the ppi takes 14 days to get to the place where i apply.. this sucks!
 
but i guess i have time for applying for tufts..?
 
rohchris, not to sound like a creep but I went back through your past posts on this website, and you have posts going all the way back to January saying you want to go to vet school and asking some questions. Why have you waited less than a week before the deadline to start sending out transcripts and researching where to apply? I feel like you should have known all this by now.

Going to have to say you're probably spot on... Was just glancing over the topics and noted that the same individual is the OP of the 'C- thread'. Quarter system physics in letter order indicate a California based university (at least in my head). Thus, if we have an individual with no clue on how to apply to the professional school of an insitution they may currently attend... Well, I have to say I've got zip for that one other than 😱.

Out of complete annoyed curiosity... what the feck is the point of trolling? Is it self gratification for people who don't have a life and need attention or is there actually some sort of cyber benefit to the number of people that respond or something? Does their life lack that much human contact? This is not rhetorical... I'm truly curious 😎

If I was going to troll I would be doing it for personal laughs I suppose. Not sure I see the point unless it was just going to be prank. A just kidding, wouldn't it be so funny if someone actually did that sort of thing.
 
I don't personally know, but I saw on Newsroom that there is a whole cyber world dedicated to trolling. They compare each other's troll experiences and the more chaos/anger you cause, the more esteemed you are. Haha :laugh:. Newsroom is an HBO show so I dont actually know if this troll world is legit.
