Hey Guys!
I'm a junior in college and I just finished Fall semester, only to find out that I made a D in biochem (terrible professor) , which is now a prerequisite for dental school. I had a 3.4 GPA, but the D has brought me down to a 3.34. This is my FIRST D in a college science course, and I have made only A's and B's in all my science courses. I am currently studying to take the DAT by the end of Jan/Feb to apply for the next cycle. I'm going to take the course over in the summer to get a higher grade!
*My question is: Will I be ruled out because of my D in biochem (I feel like a COMPLETE FAILURE), even if I take it over. How would I explain this to dental schools to have a chance of admittance?
