I asked the same question... No response yet but from what I have gathered....

Your application probably won't be in the pre-December pile, which means it probably won't be reviewed until after December 1st (first batch of decisions go out) and don't expect an interview until next year (maybe in January) unless of course, you have 25/25/25 with 3.8sGPA.

So in otherwords.... it MIGHT be worth it considering it is only $85 to apply, but don't hold your breath. Chances are drastically hindered because it is so late. Though, you might just get lucky and for $85...

I decided to add more schools tomorrow, so we're on the same boat. Good luck!

I'm thinking about doing the same thing tomorrow. What schools are you thinking about adding?

Your stats are fantastic. If you want to add more schools, do it in the next 2 weeks LATEST. Finish secondaries ASAP. Your apps will be looked at probably Jan or Feb. Possible interview invites into March and April.

I really want to add UofP to the list, but I know once they offer you an interview, you have already been accepted and a decent number of interviews have already been handed out... Applying at this point may or may not be worth it, but I might end up doing it anyway.

With that said, no definite as to which schools to add, but I have my ADEA book in front of me right now and I'm looking at which schools offer relatively more interviews because by the time our app is reviewed, next year, many seats would have already been taken and without spectacular stats, average at best, I want to increase my chances as much as possible and don't want to waste too much money on schools that I will have a 1% chance of getting in. I've already spent too much money on the apps! Poor college students👎

What about you, what schools are you thinking about?

I'm thinking the same things. I don't want to spend more money than I need to, but at the same time I want to make sure I don't have to reapply next year. I'm confident, but I've been looking at predents.com and it seems like even people with great stats get rejected. NYU has a good acceptance rate, so does Tufts and Pitt. I'm still debating if it's worth the 150/school to add schools though, maybe I'll give it a couple of days to see if I get more interviews.

Agreed.

While $100+ per school seems like a lot, it's better than the $1,000+ that I have already put into it. I might end up adding 3-4 more schools just to give me that extra push. I'll feel better about myself even if I don't get into any school (knock on wood) because otherwise, I'd keep asking myself, what if I applied to that school....I might have gotten in.

Yeah, the application process is sorta funky. People with spectacular scores are getting rejected, yet some people with below average are getting in. They must have something outstanding in their resume... Then again, I was told that I would not get any interviews with my scores and to re-apply next cycle back in June.
I now have 2 interviews and hoping for more to come! So we'll just see... This interview invitation thing is addicting though! I keep checking my e-mail for that New Mail icon!

Like you said, I feel like it's already late in the cycle and waiting for a few days won't help (maybe a week max for me...) and if I don't get anymore interviews then, I'll add 3-4 more schools. If I get even 1, I feel like I probably won't add.

How many interviews are you looking at currently?

I have 2 as well. I'm hoping to get one from UoP, but they notify people by phone calls and it takes a long time. I'm going to give it a couple of days to see if I get an invite from them. If I don't, then I'm going to add a few schools.
