Hi,

I'm submitting my primaries tomorrow, but won't be sending in my application for Tufts since my general dentist will be writing me a recommendation letter next week. I was wondering if it was possible to just go ahead and submit, and then add another recommender and submit AADSAS again with only Tufts as the designated schools?

Thanks!

You can edit, delete, or add (if the max # allowed has not been reached) a LOR until the letter is received. However, from what I understand, you CAN'T choose to send a letter to one school even if you choose Tufts later. If you list a letter of rec on AADSAS, all of your assigned schools will receive it. If you have the maximum number of LORs already and you do not wish to send your dentist's LOR to all the schools, I would suggest contacting Tufts and seeing if you can send that directly to them. This is what I was told by an AADSAS rep. Hope this helps!

I would recommend sending your application to Tufts w/ the rest of your schools. That way, there will not be any delays in the processing and waiting time. Diene is correct. If you submit your LOR through AADSAS, it will be forwarded to all the schools. If you reached the maximum number of letters, and wish to send it to Tufts, I would contact them about it if they accept additional letters.
