applying to path- low scores- advise

Hi, I'm posting this for a friend who's interested in applying to Path. He graduated many many yrs ago, and his scores not so hot. What lower tier programs that he might have a chance to get into do u know of? Any suggestions of programs i can tell him to apply to?

might be interesting to try to bribe your way into a program. Maybe take 10 grand to some program that is run by a starving junior faculty PD and just flop it on the table.

He should apply broadly to as many programs as he can afford. If he's not an IMG, he already has a slight leg up on a lot of the competition. He just needs to have good explanations for whatever deficiencies he has and why he's been away for so long, etc.
