Hi all,

I'm applying to dental school for the current application cycle and I want to apply to a few schools that I believe I have a chance at, but am hesitant because I do not have all of the undergraduate coursework required. I was a biochemistry major and some schools require certain upper-level biology courses that I have never taken.

My questions are: Has anyone ever applied to dental schools that they didn't meet all the requirements for and were offered enrollment? Did you have to take the course between accepting the offer and matriculation?

Thanks!

Yes you can still apply, but you'll have to take the required courses before matriculation

On a related note, how do we enter these prereqs into ASDAS if we have not yet taken them? I have filled out the transcript portion, but not yet reviewed them. Do I need to do this first before proceeding to the "program materials" portion? And how does that section work?

Thank you in advance for the help! Super confused at this last step haha

i'm applying to dental school and i've only taken one bio class. I'll be taking 4 this upcoming year. Enter the courses you still have to take on the transcript entry section and just put that they're in progress/planned
