Quick question about applying through ADA. I just did and it says that they process the applications on Tuesdays. Given that it is now Tuesday evening, does that mean I really am going to have to wait an entire week to register? I would really like to be taking the DAT the second week of June but I doubt there will still be spots at my prometric center if I have to wait until next week to get my seat. Thanks!

hey, yea i got the same email about the tuesday thing which is why i menionted it in another post i think, however, when i applied to take the DAT (filled out the form paid the mula etc) it was a sunday evening and i got my eligibility email the next day (ie-a monday) and it said i could register within 24 hours....which i guess coincidentally fell on a tuesdaY? but.....my point is i dont think ull actually have to wait till next tuesday.....i think,
but the first time i took the dat, i really did have to wait till the following tuesday to recieve my eligibility letter/register. for some reason i got my eligibility letter on a monday this time though, weird.
I know I applied on a Tuesday morning and got that email sometime that day, so I figured nothing would happen for a week... But I ended up getting the confirmation that my application was approved on Wednesday morning. You'll probably get yours tomorrow.
ETA: Also, it tells you to wait 24 hours to register at Prometric, but I did it a few hours after I got the confirmation and it was fine. YMMV, but if you're worried about getting a spot, it might be worth a try.

& hmmm you shouldnt bank on being able to take the DAT in the 2nd week of june anyway....but i guess it depends what city you live in. June for my location site was totally booked no seats were available except 1 day.
july was also not to available but had a few more seats then june & i registered mid/early may

erghhh, im registered for like late june.....and i really want to be ready by then but im also taking a few summer courses which start in june....soo ahhhh i dont want to be swamped with hw and dat. so i really am tryin to go hard with studying before classes get too intense.
& thats good! take it whenever u feel ready. what was ur original date? im sure late july will be fine for ur app, especially if u do well u probably have nothin to worry about👍

ohh man summer classes and DAT????? Ahhhh I don't know if I would have the courage for that.. but I am sure you will do fine since u crushed it the first timee lol..... mine was actually set to be this saturday hahah.. and that wouldn't have went too well..
omg that wouldve been SO soon. good thing u changed it!! i wouldve too. plus like i said i dont think july is considered late to be taking it and hopefully that program will help u as well. and i know.....im gonna have a meltdown and be emaciated by the end of the summer i told ya already....😱 sighhhhhh

hahah u will be finee.. im expecting 25+ in each section from you tho!! yeahh i have been wondering if late july was too late or not... hopefully not.... well it is now time to get some complimentary breakfast hahah love this place! except last night they came at like 11 pm to change my damnnnnn sheeeets... i was half a sleep.. gettin back from the library and was like no one cleaned the freakin room yet???????? so i had to call em... it was all straight tho lol
