Applying to University of Missouri- Columbia

Hello everyone! I just mailed out my application to MU since they have a late deadline and don't interview until February. I am just curious to see who else was applying to MU and their stats! I was wait listed to Rockhurst University and accepted to SBU but I am still holding out hoping that Rockhurst calls me off the list. Good luck on the waiting game!!

I am applying to Mizzou too! 🙂 GPA: 3.8 pre-req GPA: 3.8 GRE: V 159 Q 150. Good Luck, hopefully we will see each other at interviews in Feb!

Wow! your GRE is much more competitive than mine. My GPA from my last 60 hrs is 3.93 and my pre requisite GPA is 3.73. I am holding out for my wait list at Rockhurst but I thought I would try my chance at Mizzou. I hope to see you at interviews!👍

Rockhurst is a really good program, hope you get in! Mizzou is my second choice too, but it is a close second, I love the Columbia area (I live here so would not have to move) and am a huge Mizzou fan! I went to Mizzou's open house in Oct. and the avarage of last year's class was a 3.8 cumulative GPA, 301-302 GRE they admitted 44 out of 217 applicants.

Wow! That leaves me a little worried that my GRE score isn't nearly good enough. I am hoping to at least get an interview. Did you complete your undergrad at Mizzou? I am currently living in KC and would have to move to Columbia.

No I completed my undergrad at a small university about 45 minutes from Columbia. That is just the average from last year's class this year could be different. I heard from someone that they invite about 75 of the applicants for interviews.

So I just wanted to refresh the page to see if any of my midwest friends have heard anything from Mizzou? I was told they would hold interviews in mid Feb. Has anyone received a call for interview yet??

Also, wonder why there aren't more midwestern candidates using this forum? I noticed when I started posting about 2 years ago that it is mostly students from the coasts.😕
