Hi everyone, I am a current undergraduate student applying this cycle. I have every prerequisite class that I need completed to apply to all of the programs that I am interested in with the exception of Chemistry II. I am planning on taking the course in the spring of 2020 as that is the next time it is offered at my school. Will this hurt my application because it is not completed? My pre-requisite GPA as of now is around 3.95 and my overall GPA is 3.91. Thanks!

Check with each school to see if they allow outstanding prereqs when you apply. Most allow 2-3. If they allow it, it will not be counted against you.

Like above, most schools allow 2-3 unfinished classes. I was accepted with similar stats as yours to two schools with 2 ‘planned’ classes. I wouldn’t worry as long as the school says you can have planned classes. But if you are accepted and then your grade in that class is not high enough (you get a D or F), they can and will rescind your offer.

Definitely will not hurt your application as long as the schools allow 1 class incomplete by the time of application and getting the grade after your spring semester is over.
