Applying without Microbiology prereq

I just want to double check, can you apply to a school that requires a pre-req you have not yet completed? I technically have not taken microbiology (however, have several microbiology graduate level courses) and I want to apply to Michigan, Detroit-Mercy, and Midwestern-IL all of which require the course. I will be happy to take it next spring if my matriculation depends on it, but would like to submit my application now, is that OK or should I not apply to those 3 schools. Thanks!

Yes, you may apply. Will be required to be completed prior to matriculation as you stated.

Just completed my two last prerequisites : Microbiology and Orgo1.. Starting Dental School this August!!

You only really have to be careful with schools like ohio state where they require 9/13 prereqs be completed before applying. Other than that you generally just have to have them done before matriculation. I haven't done my microbiology or biochem prereqs yet but put them in planned coursework 🙂
