For schools that require specific classes (ie: biochem, 1 yr english), how do you designate on AMCAS (or otherwise) to a prospective medical school that you will be taking the class in the fall?

I don't want to submit my app only to get rejected pre-secondary (for screeners) just because of this..

In AMCAS it will let you designate courses as current/future. Also, you will not be screened out because you don't have prereqs done. Actually, they will not base their decision on prereqs, simply because they will not receive your sr year transcript till next year. So they will make their decision on the assumption that you will have all of your prereqs complete. Then, if you don't. schools will give you an unpleasant notification that they have revoked your acceptance.

How have you guys handled answering questions about pre-reqs you don't have any immediate plans to take? For example, Dartmouth's secondary asks you to list when you took/are taking their required classes, including a calc class--which I have no intention of taking unless I have to for a school I am accepted at. If I was accepted at Dartmouth and decided to go there, I'd take calc the summer before matriculcation if they refused to waive the requirement (I really hate calc, took stats instead). Should I just list summer '05 as when I'm planning to take it?
