Hi guys, i just wanted some advise on what to do. I want 2 apply 2 pharm sch nxt yr but i'm afraid my grades are 2 low. I fooled around most of my college career but now i'm trying to get everything back together. When i put my grades on pharmcas last yr my gpa was 2.80 and i know i need to get it up. any advice on what else i should do? thanks

Do you have pharmacy experience? or is this a last minute decision?

First of all, don't type like that. Second, have you considered retaking some of your key classes?

I also agree that you should never type like that again. Secondly, I would retake classes that you did poorly in to improve your overall gpa and get some pharmacy/volunteer experience.

I second this question. I think you're looking for a six-figure job without doing enough research and/or soul searching. I mean, you typed "2" for "too" and "yr" for "year." How serious can you be about the profession?

You know, I was typing up this response on how you should and could improve your chances to get into pharmacy school, but then I re-read your post again and thought over what you said about having a non-competitive gpa because you fooled around most of your college career as opposed to working hard with an idea that pharmacy was for you. That makes me wonder...as I like to know first..

What is your motivation to get into this field?
Do you know if pharmacy is right for you?
Have you tried getting any pharmacy work experience to see if this is or is not something you want to do?
