Hey,

Do you need to have an invite from a school to fill out its secondary on applyyourself.com or can you go ahead and do it anyway? My AMCAS has not yet been processed but if I can do these secondaries, I'd like to get started. If you can do it without an invite do you just make a username and go from there? Thanks SDNers. 🙄

Just my thoughts, but I would at least wait until its processed and received by the school. Of course you can always call the school and just ask.

why don't you just download the secondary, fill it out, and then when you have been invited to do the secondary it will already be done.

Thanks for the advice sistahnik but don't I still need to have a user name and password? Is that something I will have to make up anyways (whether or not I get an invite)? Or, do schools give you a username and password? So confused... 😕

hey kid..

so the applyyourself system assigns you a username..which is a combo of 9 numbers, then you have to memorize it b/c you'll use it for all applyyourself apps. the password is something you set yourself...you don't necessarily have to wait to submit AMCAS..if i were you...i'd start on the 2ndaries and then have them almost finished..then submit AMCAS and then start submitting supps. that way, they get stuff around the same time and you can stay pretty near the top of the piles...know what i mean?
