My primary application was verified a month ago. I recently applied to FAP and was approved. Will I be able to waive the cost if I apply for an additional 20 schools even if it was approved after the primary was verified? What about secondary fees?

You can't recoup the fees you already paid for AMCAS. You could check the schools on your list about whether they have instructions to waive their secondaries since you have your FAP approval.

Went through the exact thing myself. As Mr.Smile said, you can't recoup fees already paid to AMCAS. I also called to see if I could apply to an additional 20 without fees and they declined. All primary fees remain full cost (sucks but honestly you don't want to write 20 more secondaries lmao).

Secondaries were odd in that schools that were quick with secondaries didn't have my FAP in the system yet and required an email to waive their fee (provide your name and ID in email, obviously). I only ran into 1 of my schools at that point that said "too bad, you still have to pay." Schools whose secondaries I received later have all had fees waived within the application, no further contact required.

Hope that helps.
