Hi aProgDirector (and everyone else!),

I am planning to number my publications in the following manner:

01) author1, author 2, etc

02) author1,...

and so forth.

However, I was wondering if all publications show up in the same list for those who view ERAS applications, or if they show up stratified by categories such as:

Peer Reviewed Journal Articles/Abstracts
Peer Reviewed Journal Articles/Abstracts(Other than Published)
Poster Presentation

etc

If all publications show up stratified by this system, then numbering one's publications would not be helpful if the publications appear across several categories.

Would you please clarify this situation?

Thank you!

The multitude of choices appears to be something new in ERAS. Or, I simply didn't notice last year. I can't answer until after 9/1 when I'll be able to look at applications.

My 2 cents- myERAS and the CV viewing options split the publications into their respective categories, and it'd be most logical that they will be presented in the divided format to PDs otherwise it'd be a pain in the butt for PDs to read a long mixture of publications and presentations and abstracts etc... But not everything about this process is logical, so who knows.
