I was just accepted to Arcadia, but they don’t conduct interviews and I wasn’t able to attend to an info session. I was wondering if anyone on here did attend an info session, and if anyone would be able to give me insight on the program/pass along any info provided at the info session? Or if there are any current Arcadia students that would be willing to talk to me about the program, that would be great too! Thanks!

Did you hear from them this morning? Congratulations!!! Would you mind sharing your stats?

I don't know much about their program either, I am in the same boat as you. Also was curious, on their website, they say they offer scholarships and you are considered for a scholarship just from applying. Does anyone know when applicants are notified about them?

I go to school there for undergrad so I know a little about the program. The main unique thing about the school is that they employ a case-centered curriculum that consists of 20 or so 3-week units. After 3 weeks, you take an exam/practical and move on. Everything is cumulative and each unit builds on the previous one. I can try to answer more specific questions if you have them, but even though I go there I really don’t know all that much about it

I know people like the program, but I personally wouldn’t want to spend 3 years living in Glenside

I got a scholarship offered in my acceptance letter. But I don’t plan on attending

Have you heard anything about the program being more intense since it’s accelerated? That’s my main concern; PT school seems hard enough in three years, I can’t imagine it being any more condensed.

I don’t know. I know a lot of programs in the area are accelerated, so it seems like it’s the norm rather than the exception.

I must have gotten accepted since I received an email from a current student today congratulating me, but the mail in NC is so delayed right now due to the snow storm that I still haven’t received anything...

I also attended the open house and overall really liked it! I’m undecided how I feel about taking anatomy after the first semester...but it seems like it has worked well for those who have done it. It seemed like a close-knit program, but the actual town it’s in seemed fairly desolate...not that I intend to have a ton of free time! It’s one of my top choices right now! I’m debating going up for the accepted students weekend to meet others even though I already saw the school.

Did you guys find out through email or only through mail? I’ve hardly heard anything since I applied

Does anyone know if they have a Facebook group for accepted students?
