Are AMCAS problems new thing?

I've been here awhile now, and only being a freshman I haven't had to deal with the AMCAS problems you all have. I'm wondering if these problems are new this year, or if people have these problems every year?

People have problems every year, but this year they are a couple of orders of magnitude worse. It's mostly because of the new web-based application and electronic transmission. They don't work. Everything is running 1-2 months behind because of it. Things should be better by the time you apply, unless they develop another new system... Oh, for the days when AMCAS only lost transcripts!
