are equations balanced on mcat?

not sure how it goes....

mostly talking about gchem - if an equation is in a passage, do you assume it is balanced unless it states it's not?

what about equations in answer choices, do we assume it is not balanced and have to check?

just seeing were can assume equations are balanced unless told not balanced. and where we don't know if it is or isn't balanced and requires us to check.

just assume it's not and check. lol it takes literally less than 5 seconds to see if everything matches up.
