Dear SDN who went to UCLA.

Are LS1~4 enough for bio section for DAT?
I haven't taken LS1 yet, and I won't be taking any time soon. But I'm planning to take 153A during this summer b/c I heard its helpful for DAT.
IS LS1 material crucial in dat?

order of relevance: LS2>LS1>LS4>LS3>153A

Thanks for the reply. So I guess lot of cell bio and physiology questions came out. Studying LS1 would be more helpful than taking 153A according to your trend?. I was deciding either to take both classes and prepare for DAT or just take one of them.

if you prepare for DAT, i'd recommend just taking an LS class and not 153A or else you won't really have time to fully prepare for DAT.

i think 153A is a killer and I don't think the stuff in 153A really show up in the DAT.

153A is definitely overkill and not crucial for you to take before the DAT! LS1 is helpful but if you don't plan on taking it soon then you should be fine. It does however prepare you for some of the "random bio questions"
