I took my Canadian DAT in November of 2016, and I plan to apply this Summer 2018.
I know scores have to be within 2 years, and they technically are, but will they expire?

I'm confused, if application deadlines are December 1st 2018, does that mean my scores are automatically expired? Or does my application date (say June 2018) lock them in?

EDIT My top school is Boston University

Schools don't go by their Deadline. They go by when the cycle begins. I believe your scores are still alright since they are after June 2016.

June 2016 - June 2017

June 2017 - June 2018

June 2018 - June 2019

If your Test date was pre June 2016, it would not be valid.

I believe this is the case.

Thank you, this makes me worry much less. Do you have any sources?

Most schools will say We only accept scores from X years ago (pre Month).

I looked at BU and didn't see any mention, but I do recall that they are a 2 year DAT score (I couldn't apply this year because my scores are pre-June 2015)

I'm confused, specifically for boston. So what the column is saying is that the oldest date two years before the application opens in June?

The post is saying (using Boston as an example) DAT scores from prior to June 1, 2015 wouldn't be accepted for the 2017-2018 cycle. For the upcoming cycle, it would be June 1, 2016 as the cutoff date.

For Boston, your scores are fine for the upcoming 2018-2019 cycle. The document will show you the cutoff dates for other schools as well, just add one year to it to keep it accurate.
