are NBME shelf exams curved?

does the NBME curve the shelf exams before they send out raw scores and percentiles??

or if pretty much the number you answered correctly out of the 100 equal your raw score? and i am only referring to clinical MS3/MS4 shelf exams, like pediatrics, internal med, etc.... not pharm or path.

The usual score you get is adjusted so mean is 70 and std dev is 7. It's not how many you get right out of 100 and no one really knows how they grade them, just like no one knows how they grade the usmle.

what Pinkertinkle said. I might have gotten 3 questions right or I might have gotten all but 3 questions right, it's not really clear.
