Are offline NBME 1 to 6 easy?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
They are useful early on and I found them helpful. It gets you focused answering nbme questions. My test (n=1 of course) had shorter stems and was not like the free 150 at all. The questions are certainly easier on 1-6 and I used it to practice test taking and only reviewing marked or incorrects. Whole process took no more than 3 hours per test.

In 6 months I had time for kaplan, Rx, all the nbmes, and uworld x2. If you have time and can fit it in, but its not necessary.

They are all too easy but somehow are an incredibly accurate estimate of your score nonetheless

So, we can still rely on the scores we get on the previous NBMEs? But, I think grading the offline NBME is the issue as we don't know how many points each question is worth. And they are straight forward questions compare to the latest ones. I wish it was still like that. lol

Students from that time who had questions like that on the real test were so lucky.

#correct times 1.4. Its not great but it gets you on the right track. It under estimated my score but its better than guessing from uworld percentage.

Yeah I figure That is correct.
I did both NBME 6 offline and NBME 7 online the same day. 251 and 249 respectively. NBME 6 is somehow easier, few experiments and shorter stems, but overall the 2 scores were really similar. Did the online after the offline, was not really planning to do it. But the score was a little unexpected so I wanted to be sure.
I can't really speak about older forms i.e. 1-4, but 5 was released and retired with 6 so I'd say it's still pretty good as an indicator.

Which one did you find more practical, Rx or Kapplan ? I am done with uWorld, And I have both Rx and Kapplan and dont know which one to choose, I am 3 month out... And I really don't want to do both.. I want to go uWorld for a second time plus UWassesments and NMBE (all).. So Rx or Kapplan ?
