Are there any rads jobs that force daytime workers to work deep nights?

Or are they all pretty much in the past. It seems like remote overnight float is the rule these days.

I think most PP have tele for after hours but the expense is significant and turn around time/quality highly variable. Some groups, like mine, still cover overnights internally. >90% of this is done in a different time zone in a really nice condo with beautiful weather...Uncovered shifts are done locally but these are quickly snatched up given the over valued amount they pay.

If you are partner in a PP, you (aka the group) either makes the decision to cover nights internally themselves or end up paying a premium (often signficiant) for vRad or another nighthawk service to cover them for you.

As @vm26 said, quality and TAT can be variable, as can reliability. Some groups will end up only paying for prelims overnight and do formal overreads themselves. Some places will do it all internally. If you have some younger partners you might have luck in finding some who don't mind doing the nights for extra pay or time off (but has to be significant).
